Okay, so yesterday I was building this intranet site based on Windows authentication, but quickly swapped that out for Forms authentication; so now I can manage local user accounts (yes, the end users and there are hundreds of them, will be upset that yet again, they have to log into something else) - but now how do I get that current user name? I have tried the HTTPContext.Current, but it comes through blank. Is there another way?
The reason I need it is based on the user id, certain business rules (not roles) apply.
