peace be upon you all
i have a problem that i can't access any remote sql server through my application or even through my sql server.
i tried much and searched alot and finally i closed the firewall, but useless.
i made sure that the server is enabled for remote connection through tcp/ip, and sql browser is running
then i wrote im my server: in (server name) the ip address and tried to use the indows authentication and sql authentication with sa user, it showed the same message that it cannot connect, i tried another server on another computer but also useless.
However when i tried to access the server from it's computer (i mean locally) with writing the ip it succeded.
please any one help me
