I'm new to asp.net and I have a question.
I'm working on a page where it has 5 Buttons. Add Edit Delete Save Cancel.
I want each button pressed to change the page mode, a clear change would be the enabling/disabling of various controls on the page, including the Buttons themselves:On pressing Add, Page mode is changed and the buttons is disabled where Save and Cancel become enabled.
I used Enum PageMode (View, Add, Edit), and a static variable "_pageMode", turns out it's a bad idea since more than one instance of that page can exist at one time, thus overriting each others' modes.
I'm not sure anymore how to approach this scenario.
I tried to keep the description short.
Any help is appreciate. Please let me know if anything is not clear.
