Hi Forum,
I have a business profile app that depending on the level selected, can display more information per level. I have 6 levels.
The 'dumb' Class that contains all of the values is at the moment one class, with all of the possibilities for all the levels defined in a single class.
If the lowest level is selected then most of the class is not populated, a bit more is populated at each level until the last level where it is all populated. At the DAL level I have different queryies and this higher the profile level the more tables are used
The Question is am I better have a 'dumb' class for each level, I mean by defining all of the varbles in one class, am I potentally using a lot of memory that does not get used at the lower profile levels.
I can use inherentance, so that Level6, would inherit Level, that would inherit Level4 etc etc
Which is the bets way to do this, one bit class or a class that is specificly defined only to ...

Go to the complete details ...
