Vallidation issue in Datagrid.

Hi All,
 I am using DotNet framework 1.1,  In a form i have added a datagrid control, it has 8 columns with edit and delete options.
I am validating some controls while editing the records. But in my form validation is not happening. I have added Required Field Validator and Range validator, without vallidating system is updating records if controls are empty. Please help me to solve this problem.
