Control alignment question

I have some checkboxes, a dropdown list and a label above a multi line textbox. I want to align the controls to the right top corner of the texbox.

What is the best way to do this?

I tried enclosing the controls in a span tag the same width of the texbox and setting the text-align right but it did not work.
