All the examples I have seen online for access to a sql server use the web.config connection string with a single sql account. We decided that we required more security than that, so we created a system where each user has their own sql account that is linked to their asp.net account.
This system is proving to be difficult to maintain, and I was wondering what other people use.
Our main concern is that we are providing one sql login account for an application for all users, no matter which role their are in.
