I want to make a page or all pages on my site timeout if there is no activity for a while.  This would be in case someone left the browser open with the site loaded and forgot about it, or some other similar situation.  This seems like a good feature to have built into a site.  A good example is this site ASP.net site, it will do this.
Is providing this type of feature for a site a good idea?  Is it common in asp.net sites?  How will I provide an error or timeout page for when this feature kicks in?
Should this be done on the session level in IIS instead of with in the site?
Can someone please recommend a good article?
