call javascript function

in aspx:
function checkFunction(no,name){
 
}
in cs:
string test_name ="hello";
StringBuilder Strname=new StringBuilder();                       
 Strname.AppendLine("<td ><input type=checkbox  onclick='checkFunction("+no+","+test_name+");' runat='server' name='checkbox_name' value='XX'</td>");
 
when i call the checkFunction(),  i can't pass the 2 argument as there is error.
what is the problem??
