m currently developing an intranet application. One of the forms was to create a new user. I didnt want users to be able to register themselves, an administrator must add new users.
Anyway, I used the wizard and added 2 additional steps - collecting user information and tick box role assignment. This was working fine. One slight flaw was that once the user was created it was immediately logging in as him.
So i'm in the system as administrator.... i create the profile and then bang... i'm logged in as the user and i'm him.
Anyway, this was only a small flaw. I was using it as recognition that the user was created.... but..... now ive shifted the createuser.aspx into the admin folder. This folder only admins have access to....
I'm logged in as admin and i start the new user process..... stage 1 - default form is fine, stage 2 collecting additional info is fine..... but when it gets to role assignment... ...
