events not working

 hi,
I am using rahul singla's ContentScroller.dll.It is woking fine.I have put a datalist inside the content template.I am not able to access the properties or events of the datalist inside the content scroller.Also i tried to put code like OnItemCommand="Dlupdates_ItemCommand" and in code behind like
 protected void Dlupdates_ItemCommand(object source, DataListCommandEventArgs e)
    {
   }
And i put break points inside the above function.But it is not going inside while i execute the application
