How to find duplicates values 'counts'

Hello Friends,
For example,
""""The man,the girl.the boy,the man/girl"""
From above sentence each word should be splitted with {, . /} into single words.
Output should be like::::
The --- 4(Times occured)

man --- 2
girl --- 2
boy --- 1
