Could you tell me which one is better to operate database between typed dataset and LINQ to SQL?

I know I can create a typed dataset to operate database, and also I know to create a dbml file to operate database with LINQ TO SQL, could you tell me which one is better?

I think that typed dataset is more simple and quick, is it right?
