I need to add a subject key identifier to a test certificate but makecert doesn't seem to understand the Subject Key Identifier OID 2.5.29.14. I'm using the following command:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\VC>makecert -n "CN=SKI" -eku 2.5.29.14 -ss my -sr currentuser c:\cryptotoolbox\ski2.cer
When I double-click on the newly made certificate file I see that there's an "Extended Key use" field that says "Unknown key use (2.5.29.14)" (I'm translating these terms from Dutch so it might not be the exact english translation). What I would expect is a field with the name "Subject Key Identifier" that has a hexadecimal value.
Does anyone know how to generate this field using makecert? Or does anyone know for a fact that it's not possible? Or know a well documented tool that can generate a test certificate with a subject key identifier?
I need the Subject Key Identifier in o ...
