I'm trying to Google what I'm after, but I can't really find the phrase/term to describe exactly what I'm looking for, so I'll explain it here and hope someone understands what the heck I'm talking about.
I'm working on a website now that will contain an admin section. The admin section itself will have certain customizations unique to the website itself, but it would also have features that I'd like to standardize across other admin sections of future sites to make updates, etc. easier on myself, rather than altering the code and recompiling everyone's website. In other words, I'd like to have precompiled code that would deal with the standard sections of a site and then I'd write something that would distribute whatever I've precompiled (I'm assuming precompiled DLLs, so that's how I'm going to reference this from here on out) across those sites that contain the standard s ...
