When I create an excel application in my C# Code and run it in the production site (I use windows 2003 server) I get the error below:
Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {00024500-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} failed due to the following error: 80080005.
The application is failing on "excel = new Excel.Application()". This only happens live, locally it wroks perfect.
I went to "dcomcnfg" in the server and then created a new user "Network Service" under "Launch and Activation permission" in the Microsoft Excel Properties and gave it full permission.
I went as well to the C:\WINDOWS\assembly and made sure that the Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel version 11.0 exist with same key token in my web config.
Finally I went to regedit and made sure that I have the CLSID registere ...
