Can you discard *.pdb etc files with no consequence?

I want to know what gets rebuilt by Visual Studio.
I am curious to know how many files I can safely ignore when using SVN.
pdb seems like a safe choice. But what about the same (project named) .dll?
I am getting annoyed because as soon as I do a commit, these files keep changing during debugging (*shakes fist*).
I already ignore the vbproj.user file. Is there anything else that might smooth things a little?
