Suggestion needed to process batch jobs with different priorities.

Hi all,

We have a requirement to process records in batches with different priorities.

We have a web service to receive huge a mount of data from outside world all the time and save� all incoming raw data� in our database table as a queue. And we have another windows service running at background to process all these records� from the table queue.

� 

The new requirement is to process all these records with different priority based on 1 column of the table. Some of the records need to be processed within 3 minutes, while some of them within 5 hours and rest of them need 24 hours. We must meet this requirement. Whenever high priority records are all done, we also should process low priority ones as fast as possible.
