Hope I have posted this in the right area.
I have 2 ASCX controls displayed within a web page.
Within control 1 I have a dropdown with an event handler that uses OnSelectedIndexChanged event.
What I want to do is "when dropdown in control 1 is set to x, use a Control.FindControl method (or any method!!) to lookup a label within control 2 and set its text to x or y or whatever"
I have no problem using FindControl method when I'm dealing with dropdowns and labels within the one control file. But I am having problems with 2 control files when I try to lookup/find a label in the 2nd control file from an event occuring within the first control, such as the dropdown value being set or changed.
I hope my query here makes sense. Any assistance much appreciated.
