Forms Authentication against Active Directory

So I am trying to setup my web app according to this documentation:  http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms998360.aspx#paght000026_objectives  I have an intranet that works fine internally, but I want to setup this authentication method for use externally via our website. I think I have it setup in my LDAP connection, but not sure either. My domain is Orion.Local   It was a server using SBS 2003 converted to Server 2003 R2 Standard, so my user container inside active directory is like this.
 
Orion.Local >  MyBusiness > Users > SBSUsers
 
as well as
 
Orion.Local > Users

 
When I run the Login.aspx and type in my credentials of an existing user, it gives me this error:
 Configuration Error
