Parsing a string value from front and back

I have a path which always is written http:\\localhost\ or http:\\localhost I want to parse the value that it just substrings and write the value "localhost" with no http:\\ or ending with "\" the out i am looking is for just "localhost"    public string SiteURL { get { if (_serverPath.EndsWith("/")) { _serverPath -= "/"; } return _serverPath ; } }
