TextBox.text to Label.text

Hello,

I'm working on a form that ahs user entering data from mulitline textboxes.  When the form is 'read-only' the textboxes are displayed as labels.

I'm am aware of how to replace vbcrlf to "<br>" and " " to "&nbsp;". (sometimes i need replace spaces to the users can 'format' columns etc...)

Is there a more formal or standard .net method to do this?
