Can a WCF Web Service (hosted and publicly accessible) be securely called (with ID and password and SSL) by a winForms client application?
If so, what do I need to look at, read up on, samples I can review, others posts on this subject?
Can it be done locally (on Windows XP Pro) tested and debugged before pushing to public servers? Is there such a thing as a development SSL for testing and debugging locally?
I coded up a sample working locally with no security (SSL, id/password), but now I need to add the security and have it also work with I push it out to an internet server.
