aspnetb - UserName needs to be updated as their last name changed and thus their AD logon - best way to do this?

I'm using ASPNETDB for my ASP.NET site and I need to change a user's name.

 Their last name changed and now on the domain their login is First.NewLastName.

 What is the best way to update this in the aspnetdb database?

Just an UPDATE statement against the "aspnet_Users.UserName"  Should I remove them and then add them again under their new username?
