Hi, in a web application i'am using user.isInRole to se the role of the user, there are 2 problems tha i don't understand.
1) for the same user(me) it is true for "administrators" and "Users" groups, i am the administator in my computer but in the company net i am "Users", the code is:
if (User.IsInRole("Users")) gruppo2 = "Users";
For other groups that i don't belong it turns false
I don't understand if user.isInrole take the groups from the active directory in the net or even from the local groups in my computer, and can i say to use different domains or it search in corrent user domain.
2)When inserting groups that don't exist .net raise an error like this:"trust relationship between primary and trusted domains not possible ", does that mean that
when an group doesn't exists it raise an error.
