binding syntax in ascx file

Hi All
I am learning asp.net 2.0 programming and hope someone can help me with this:
1) i have table called demographics on local sqlexpress server. table has two columns (Name and Age) 
2) i have usercontrol (demographics.ascx) with two text boxes (txtName and txtAge) and two properties in code behind file for each textbox...
3) i have webform (default.aspx) where i placed my usercontrol.
 
Searching the web i found many examples how to access child controls of user control via propeties. but now im stuck at how to get binding to work inside ascx file. like so:
<%@ Control Language="C#" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeFile="Demographics.ascx.cs" Inherits="Demographics" %>
