Hi,
I have a Product Table where are 300,000 records in product table. There is a column name "Product Name" where i only Unique value can be inserted means no duplication...........
If i Want to enter a new record and insert the product name like "XYZ" which is already in the table but i don't want to insert this record because it is already exist in the table.
So how i handle with a loop which check each and every value in the db and if found than return "true" for found else "false" ........... it means if my product name "XYZ" at the end of the table record ....... then this loop will run 300,000 times ........... WHich is not optimized solution ............
Is there any way to handle this situation where i can reduce the time complexity????????????????????
