download link using linkbutton

hi all

i created a download link using linkbutton (in gridview).....which will carry 2 function which will let user download the file and update the database (totaldownload)......

but how can i do both of these together when user click on the download link.....

what i did now can just update the database but din let the user download the file

any advice for this problem ?
