My current application has a table called Kobject. which has GUID, Type, Name , ObjectXML, CreatedBy, ModifiedBy, MajorVersion, MinorVersion.
The model is such that, when a user wants to save , all the model entities and formed to ObjectXML and dumped to database, the reverse is while reading back.
Although Name, Type CreatedBy ,ModifiedBy, MajorVersion, MinorVersion. were there in objectXml, I took it out as these things were need frequently , If the no of rows was huge, I need to parse each n every OBjectXML,
We are thinking of normalizing the schema, there are following questions that come to our mind -
Designing Schema, Data Migration , Using LINQ . The question is Can I use LINQ to XML , and keep the existing schema as it is?
