Using Response.write from thread

Hi guys
I have an aspx page which starts a thread which is located in a code file in appcode folder.But whenever I try httpcontext.current.response.write() from  inside the  thread,  I dont get any thing written on the page output.
Do I need invokerequired here? Since I dont have any controls on the code file how do I Use it?.
Actually I tried passing the page reference to the thread and still it didnt work.
