Ok I thought I understood how to set these up and I can get them to work within the same method but I cannot get my public variables to work throught the page. I have some variables I have assigned publicly for reference against later in the page, they are first loaded by a database and then later i need to access thous again. This is were there currently are declared, I think I just have them in the wrong place
