Hi,
I am running sql server 2005 on Windows server 2003. I need to upgrade the 2003 box to Windows 2008. The 2003 box is running some old ASP code (written in 2005) and has an ODBC connection to the SQL server.
There are server flavors of both Sql server Express and Windows 2008.
Should I go with:
Windows server 2008 32 bit or 64 bit
SQL server 2008 or 2012 and should it be 32 bit or 64 bit.
I'm included to use Windows 2008 R2 64 bit with Sql server express 2012 or 2008 64 bit unless I hear some reasons why I shouldn't.
