The button posts the contents of the textbox to a server page to update the database, and the response with update is displayed in a div... It all works flawlessly when I'm using the VS dev server by running the app. When I place the compiled app on the web server it gets the initial data fine. Then when trying the update it prompts me for a username and password. I enter my credentials and all is well. Obviously I don't want people to have to do that.
I found other articles saying the devserver works because it's all "local" which is part of the trusted sites zone, and running it over the net ...
