Using Forms authorization in my ASP.NET MVC application. Currently, I am manually building the Forms Auth ticket/cookie (login controller code) and periodically refreshing the ticket (global.asax). That seems to work great. The piece I am not so clear on is how to deal with session timeouts in the client (javascript / jquery). Would be nice to send the user to a session time out page when a ajax request results in a session timeout. Not quite sure how to do this. Anyone have any elegant solutions for this scenario?
