I have a SQL 2008 Server DB backup file that I would like to upload to a New Install of SQL Server Express 2008 R2. I am not SQL literate. I need the DB on my local computer to test some ASP. Can someone tell me an easy non-technical way to do
this? I am attempting to do this with a query but have no idea of how to write the query or where to send it to. I did get one error that said statement could not be parsed. Incorrect syntax GO.
RESTORE FILELISTONLY FROM DISK='c:\supplybackup\db_backup\db_13147_supply_backup.bak'

Can the backup file be imported into Access 2007 and then imported to SQL express?
