user athentication with xml file and when user authenticated shows hidden panel in default web page

 I have developed a website hosted by a web service provider.  The service provider uses net framework 2.0
My website has a default page containing a panel that is hidden until the user is authenticated.  It also contains an XML file(Log_in.xml) that consists of one password and one user name.
