buttons in modal dialog box

Hi,

i have 2 web pages. 1.aspx and 2.aspx
when i select some data in 1.aspx and click on submit button
2.aspx will appear as a modal dialog box displaying the selected values with "ok" and "cancel" buttons.

If the user clicks on the "Cancel" button, then 2.aspx should get closed and 1.aspx page should be displayed.

IF the user clicks on "ok" button, then necessary functions to insert data into db(which already exist with me) should be called and then this should be closed.

Can some one tell me how to write code for Cancel and Ok buttons ?
