Hello everyone. So, my question is more a design topic than a technical topic. I would like to know if any of you can give some advices and good habits for managing users on a web application. I'm developing a web application and I'm doing my own users manage module. I have in my database my own tables of users, roles, and permissions. I need to know for example the most commonly practices of web developers in this kind of applications, good advices for managing my users, authentication, and logging. For example, is good or not to set up a field, of my user's table on my data base, which keep the login state of a user (if he or she is logged in or not)?? I hope you can give some documentation, links or send me posts about this topic. thanks a lot in advance.
