I am using VS 2008 and ASP.Net security with nearly all the default options set on. I set up a new user and password and can not log in. When I recover the password a completly non recognisable password comes back, Typically I will enter a password like "Boat.1234" and the recovery system shows the password as being something like "3zj/Z0nwrV93%{" .
I have deleted and recerated the MDF/LDF files, deleted and reset users but still get the same problem on ALL users.
Please help!!
