Update Query using view

 hi friends i struck while updating record from one table having link with some other veiw.
 
suppose there is one table Employee having following field
empid   empname  noofdaysWork
 
there is one view vwRecord returning following field
empid   startdate  enddate   noofdays
i need to update Employee table's noofdayswork field
 
for that i have return following query but it gives error
update employee
set noofdayswork=select vwRecord.noofdays where (vwRecords.empid=Employee.Empid)
 
 
 
please give me solution.....thnks in advance
