SQL and C#

Hy!

I am triing to mix SQL and C# but I don't know if that is possible. First I am selecting one row with a column(rating).  Then I am trying to do something with that (rating)value. I used if clause. 

 

SELECT movie_number,title,rating FROM View1 WHERE (username=@username AND movie_number=1)

if (rating<=5)

{

Response.Redirect ("nextpage.aspx");

} 

Can someone direct me to the right path?
