How to hind controls based on permissions?

I want to hide controls based on logged in users permissions. I know there is asp:LoginView control that hides control, based on the logged in user?s roles. But I want to hide controls based the permissions set for the user in database.(Not roles)  I have a method name HasAccess(), where u can pass UserName, Operation Name and that method will return true or false depends on whether that user has permission to perform that operation or not.  I want to develop a LoginView kind of control where I?ll pass Operation Name as attribute to this control at deign time and then this control should render itself based on return value of HasAccess() method.
