This post is a bit long to read and contains a lot of questions ,but I really need help. Your inputs would be mostly appreciated.
I am not a web developer expert, but I have always developped my website in ASP.NET (VB.NET). I use VS2008 or 2010.
Today I have to analyse development time for a new web site project. Quick description of the website:
1) Main menu (8-10 options) / Sub menu (from 1 to 20 sub-items) / Sub-sub menu (few more items)
1) 100-125 web pages of static texts / images / PDF link pages.
2) 8-12 web pages with input controls (registration form, password change, information/comment/help request form)
3) A shopping cart with payment capabilities. Payment using Moneris (already develop for another project of mine)
4) The customer will need some customizing tools to update some pages content by himself.
The website will be hosted at a public hosting company.
