Probably a simple problem, but I'm new to asp.net from asp and I could do with some help. I have a formview for a 'Hosting' table that also has a 'DomainID' field, related to domainID in a Domains table. When adding a new hosting item, I want to use a dropdown list for the domain items, populated from the table. I have this much up and running, the problem I have is binding the data when updating. As mentioned, I've been programming asp for some time, but I don't get how to bind the data when I click on the 'Update' Button on the form view. Help with this problem would be great, but if somebody could point me towards an explanation of datasource parameters and how they interact with the fields in a formview, that would be even better. I can post some code if necessary, just let me know. Thanks in advance.
