I have a situation like this. I am suppose to consume the web services from Java. When i asked the URL of the WSDL, they did not give me the URL. Instead they gvae a wsdl file. What should i do with that wsdl file? As suggested by one of the person, i saw the Soap Address in the WSDL file and i went to my asp.net/vb project and i went and right clicked on the project and clicked on Add Web Reference. But when i enter the address, it says "Http get not supported". The soap address i see in that WSDL file is something like this "http://abc.net:8023/createticket"
Now one of my friend was saying that i need to telnet their Server, which i am not familiar with. I don't know what telneting is. I don't know how to approach in that way.
Now i dont know what i am suppose to do now? Any suggestions Please. Those people from Java are saying that they don't have any idea about adding that WSDL as web reference.
I am really confused. ...
