I am sort of new to this whole thing but I understand the basics. I have visual web developer 2008 express installed. I have a SQL database of which i know much about, especially the dataset and its structure.
I have built a few simple aspx pages to query data from certain tables.
I have the following questions...
Let's say the value in the field is 1 or 0, any way to make it display on the page as "yes" and "no".
Also, i'd like to create a couple forms where you enter a variable or text string, hit submit and it subs that string into the query
like if you want to lookup an account you enter an account number and it runs a query that i've coded but then puts in the account number you entered as a variable when it executes?
Right now i just have a few simple grid views that work fine but i'd like to take some of it to a more advanced level
