html Button to c# code behind,

Hi
I am trying to use dynamicly added html buttons on my page, How would i get that button event to the c# code behind, so i can prosess logic with it.
The reson i am doing this is that some places i am using the NVelocity to add the buttons. I would like to use the prototype framework if possible.
