load testing my web application - whats software to use?

Hi,

I have a web application where I would like to increase the amount of load on it.  Requesting 1 URL is fine, and being able to simulate random IP addresses is even better.

Any recommended tools ?  I'd like to do at least 100,000 requests per hour.  Also I want to test my actual webserver rather than doing it locally if thats possible.
