Checking for timeout in adodb recordset open?

Hi,


I'm working on a Google One Box module that queries AD for contact info on users. I'm running into a problem because our Google Search Appliance will only wait for 3 seconds for results to return and often the query takes longer than this which gives the users inconsistent results.
I've set the commandtimeout of my connection timout objet to 2 seconds but I'm not sure how to check if the recordset.open command has timed out or simply returned zero records.
Could someone tell me how to check if the open command timed out? The code to setup and the connection and open the recordset is below.
