I am building an app in asp.net and using the web.sitemap as a data source to the navigation on the master page.
I need to apply security trimming based on the user roles in active directory. I have configured the web.config to use the site map file.
I need to know what is provider I need to configure the asp.net role manager to use the roles defined in active directory?
After reading some articles on MSDN, I feel it would be AuthorizationStoreRoleProvider. But I am not sure.
Also I do not sure about the difference between the following two providers... AuthorizationStoreRoleProvider AND AspNetWindowsTokenRoleProvider?
I would greatly appreciate help!
